When Leo Fender launched the G&L L-2000 bass in 1980, it was clear he was ready to make history all over again. Never before had such a wide range of tones come from a single bass, and throughout its evolution the iconic L-2000 has continued to win the hearts of bassists of every style and musical taste. The foundation of the L-2000 is a pair of G&L Magnetic Field Design humbuckers backed by the flexible Tri-Tone control system, providing the sort of versatility that’ll let you find your tone no matter what kind of bass line you’re laying down. The Tri-Tone system features a trio of mini toggles for pickup selection, series/parallel signal routing and active/passive operation, as well as a trio of knobs for volume, treble and bass. With all that under the hood, Leo gave the L-2000 the kind of chops that’ll fit in any situation, from classic R&B to power-packed rock to poppin’ funk. What’s more, the L-2000 features an innovative Leo Fender-designed Saddle-Lock bridge to transfer string energy right into the body end-grain for an incredibly resonant instrument. The Tribute Series L-2000 delivers the magic of Leo’s revolutionary bass at a price attainable for every working musician.Case sold separately.34 ScaleTwo Leo Fender-designed / Paul Gagon-specified G&L MFD humbucking pickups made in Fullerton, CaliforniaSwamp Ash body on translucent and burst finishes, Basswood body on solid finishesHard-Rock Maple neck with Maple or Rosewood fingerboardMedium C shape neck profile22 Medium jumbo frets, nickelTraditional open-back tuning keysLeo Fender-designed G&L Saddle-Lock bridgeTri-Tone system with 3-position pickup selector, series/parallel switch, 3-position pre-amp mode switch, volume, treble, bassCase sold separately

G&L Tribute M2500 5-String Electric Bass Honey Burst Rosewood FretboardG&L Tribute M2500 5-String Electric Bass Honey Burst Rosewood Fretboard
Three decades ago, the G&L L-2000 bass served notice that company founder Leo FenderÃ?  was ready to disrupt the status quo. The bold, brash L-2000 and the L-2500 five-string that followed have always been an exhilarating experience for players with the skill to pull it off. Now the new M-2000 and M-2500 harness that power with a sonic palate that will surprise and delight new and die-hard G&L fans alike.Leo’s MFD humbuckers have always been the heart of the iconic L-Series. In the all-new M-Series, these powerhouses are voiced to fully exploit a studio-quality 18v preamp system specially designed by G&L’s R&D wizard Paul Gagon. With an LF442 chip, 100v poly caps, 1% metal film resistors and big, fat signal traces on the mil-spec circuit board, this preamp reveals everything the player and the instrument have to offer. And there’s even more:Ã?¢ Primary volume and pan controls to explore the full range of sounds available between the two pickupsÃ?¢ 3-band EQ with peripherally placed, center-detent, reduced-diameter knobsÃ?¢ An impeccable, familiar feel of the instrument in the hands and on the shoulderFor slapping, rolling back some highs and dialing up some lows, coupled with a mid-range boost, magnifies the intensity that Leo’s humbuckers are famous for. Need more definition for fingerstyle? Just bring up the treble and roll off the bass for a nuanced and detailed sound. Headroom? The new M-Series preamp harnesses the power of those meaty MFD humbuckers without a hint of clipping. The best tools are simple, intuitive and easy to use, and that’s exactly what you’ll find in the new M-Series package.Various styles and colors available. G&L Tribute S500 Electric Guitar Vintage White Rosewood FretboardG&L Tribute S500 Electric Guitar Vintage White Rosewood Fretboard
The G&L S-500 debuted in 1982 as Leo’s own evolution of the traditional double-cutaway bolt-on axe, delivering innovations including the Dual-Fulcrum vibrato and Magnetic Field Design single-coil pickups, each designed by Leo Fender himself. These MFD pickups deliver a bright and sparkly top end and robust bottom end, all without losing midrange focus. You’ll find plenty of punch in the MFD pickups, but what’s surprising is how glassy and detailed they become as you roll back the volume and bass controls, the latter a part of the S-500’s PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system which functions on all three pickups. What’s more, the G&L Tribute Series S-500 includes a push-pull expander switch on the treble pot to allow neck+bridge or all three pickups together. In a pinch, the neck+bridge combo does a convincing faux ASAT Special. The G&L Tribute Series S-500 features one of Leo’s favorite pairings: the power of MFD pickups mellowed by the high porosity of a mahogany body. Making the most of this delicious combo is Leo’s Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, a work of engineering art which allows bending up or down with unsurpassed stability, while offering a silky feel through its beefy aluminum vibrato arm.Leo’s forward-looking spirit is clearly reflected in the S-500, a guitar he designed for players who share that spirit. And now, it’s available at a price within reach of every working musician. G&L Tribute Ascari Gts Hb3 Electric Guitar Transparent BlackG&L Tribute Ascari Gts Hb3 Electric Guitar Transparent Black
The G&L Tribute Ascari GTS HB3 Electric Guitar was inspired by a recently uncovered prototype drawing done three decades ago by G&L co-founder George Fullerton, representing Leo Fenders vision for G&L’s first 24.75 in. scale, three-tuners-to-a-side guitar. It was designed jointly by G&L’s Paul Gagon and Grover Jackson, founder of Jackson Guitars. Its DNA is full of rock guitar history.Yet it breaks new ground for G&L: it has a set neck, a Leo-inspired headstock with three tuners to a side, and a 24.75 in. scale to put it squarely on the classic side of the rock-and-roll stage.Add in a TonePros tailpiece and three tappable Alnico humbuckers, and you have a gorgeous, high-performance rock guitar thats simultaneously strikingly new and steeped in rock guitar history.Case sold separately.BodyBody shape: AscariBody type: SolidBody material: WoodTop wood: Flame Maple TopBody wood: MahoganyBody finish: Irish AleOrientation: Right HandedNeckNeck shape: Modern Slim CNeck wood: MahoganyJoint: Neck ThroughScale length: 24.75 in.Truss rod: YesNeck finish: Black/Dark GlossFretboardMaterial: RosewoodRadius: 12 in.Fret size: Medium JumboNumber of frets: 22Inlays: pearl trapezoidNut width: 1-11/16 in.PickupsConfiguration: 3 pickupNeck: G&L CS4250C Chrome Covered HumbuckerMiddle: G&L CS4250C Chrome Covered HumbuckerBridge: G&L CS4470C Chrome Covered HumbuckerBrand: G&LActive or passive: PassiveSeries or parallel: SeriesPiezo: noActive EQ: noSpecial electronics: Pickup Expansion switch (on Tone Pot)ControlsControl layout: Volume, TonePickup switch: 5 Position Pickup Selector SwitchCoil tap or split: Coil TapKill switch: noHardwareBridge type: TonePros locking C-TPFP bridgeBridge design:Tailpiece: CT1 tailpieceTuning machines: StandardColor: ChromeOtherNumber of strings: 6Special features:Case: NoAccessories: Adjustment wrenchesCountry of origin: Indonesia

G&L Tribute Asat Special Electric TI-ASP-120R21R30

G&L Tribute Asat Special Electric Guitar Blue Burst Rosewood FretboardG&L Tribute Asat Special Electric Guitar Blue Burst Rosewood Fretboard
The G&L ASAT Special just might be the quintessential G&L guitar, viewed by many as Leo’s ultimate single-cutaway. Back in 1985, Leo Fender launched this model under the G&L Broadcaster name, which prompted a response from Fred Gretsch of Gretsch Guitars over the name just as it had thirty-five years earlier. History buffs will recall that the Broadkaster name is owned by Gretsch, and once again, a Broadcaster from Leo was required to have its name changed. This time around, the name became ASAT, which is US military shorthand for an Anti-Satellite missile. The ASAT Special, as the model became known, features jumbo single-coil Magnetic Field Design pickups, each with a narrow bobbin aperture for a coil that is shallow yet wide. In this regard, an MFD jumbo single coil is similar to a P-90 or Jazzmaster pickup, yet the MFD principle provides a punchier bottom end and brighter top end sparkling with harmonics. Leo further departed with the past with the addition of his innovative Saddle-Lock bridge which transfers string energy right into the body end-grain for an incredibly resonant instrument. The result is one of the most versatile guitars ever, serving up ballsy twang to searing blues to smooth jazz tones. What’s more, this ASAT Special is offered in either a traditionally G&L Swamp Ash body for maximum attack, or a mahogany body for that righteous 80s G&L blend of jumbo MFD power mellowed by the high porosity of mahogany. Two great ASAT flavors, yours for the picking.Case sold separately.Swamp Ash body (Blueburst) or Mahogany (Tobacco Sunburst)Hard-Rock Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboardLeo Fender-designed jumbo G&L MFD single coils made in Fullerton, California3-position pickup selector, volume, tone18:1 ratio, sealed-back tunersLeo Fender-designed G&L Saddle-Lock bridgeCase sold separately

The G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy is a factory-modded version of Leo’s final word on the traditional single-cutaway bolt-on guitar, and the semi-hollow version takes it further with G&L’s distinctive twin voice chambers and f-hole added to a beautiful swamp ash body. Like its solid-body stablemate, this axe delivers a well-balanced pairing of a G&L alnico humbucker designed by Paul Gagon and a single-coil G&L Magnetic Field Design bridge pickup designed by Leo Fender.Framed in a classic boxed-steel bridge, the single-coil MFD bridge pickup delivers crisp attack with complex harmonics while individual brass saddles offer modern levels of intonation refinement. Flip to the neck bucker and you’ll discover all the charismatic warmth you could ask for. Put em together and you’ll find yourself immersed in exploring the limits of this guitar’s surprising versatility.
