The Baron-H Vintage electric bass guitar is Schecter’s perfect combination of classic elegant looks and awesome modern technology. The Semi-Hollow chambered Baron body adds an ample amount of resonance giving it a fuller tone and better acoustic/natural tone, not to mention a lighter weight as well. The Grover vintage tuners offer up precision and durability with classic styling. The die cast housing is a sturdy foundation for maintaining center lines of the worm and gear. A fixed bearing surface in the housing creates a smooth turning surface for easy tuning. The safety string post and elephant ear’ button provide utility and a vintage look. The Baron-H Vintage’s rosewood fretboard comes standard for a reason. Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is fundamentally richer than maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores. The maple neck is built to last. Maple has a uniform grain, it’s strong and stable, and it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. Its tone is highly reflective, and focuses more energy onto the body wood. Maple transfers a bright tone to the body, which complements the warm tones of the mahogany body. The hum-cancelling Seymour Duncan SMB-4D pickup offers a balanced, highly musical tone contour with a richly articulated bottom, lots of midrange, and biting treble. It’s got a nice, mild bark without being overly brash, and it’s not at all harsh in the mid-range. The low end is full and strong without being mushy or foggy.Mahogany body Bolt-on maple neck Rosewood fingerboard 22X Jumbo frets Dot inlaysCreme bindings Grover Vintage tuners Seymour Duncan SMB-4D pickups Vol/Active 2-Band Seymour Duncan STC-2S-BO’ E/Q (w/selectable treble switch) Wilkinson WBBC bridge 34 Scale Chrome hardware Bass, Electric Bass, 4 String Electric Bass Schecter Guitar Research H80667M.001.001 USED005001 2654 Schecter Guitar Research, 4 String Electric Bass |
