Guilds latest reissue is built with a solid mahogany body, set neck, and Guilds rare scroll headstock, features that remain faithful to the very first iteration of the Jetstar launched in 1963. Originally a short scale guitar with a single pickup, today’s Jetstar has a 25-1/2 scale length for faster feel and improved response, and dual Guild LB-1 Little Bucker pickups. LB-1 pickups are true replicas of Guilds original anti-hum humbuckers, and bring a usable array of tones from sparkly clean single coil-esque spank to thick and warm humbucker sounds that fatten and sing when driven. This guitar features the Hagstrom Vintage Tremar, a reissue of the vibrato system that is considered the crown jewel of many Guild solid body electric models from the 1960s. Along with the authenticity of the Hagstrom Vintage Tremar as a historic Guild feature, this reissue includes mechanical refinements such as fully adjustable spring tension for a user-customizable feel and pitch range, and a locking trem arm for optimal security.The Jetstar features a vintage C shape mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with simple mother-of-pearl fret markers.
